Polly&Me is a socially conscious fashion label that is dedicated to empowering over 500 women in the isolated valley of Chitral, in North-West Pakistan. Their latest collection of "Gup Shup" handbags consist of carefully crafted hand-embroidered textiles. “Gup Shup” means informal chit-chat, or gossip in Urdu. The textile images on each bag tell these women’s stories- of the everyday comings and goings, the ventures of child-rearing and home-making, and the special events that color their lives.
